Annual Report Award (ARA) is an annual competition organized by Bapepam-LK is now transformed into the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), in cooperation with the Ministry of SOEs, the Directorate General of Tax, Bank of Indonesia, the Indonesia Stock Exchange, National Committee on Governance and the Indonesian Institute of Accountants.
Since held for the first time in 2002, ARA be an assessment of the quality of the presentation of information in the Annual Report or annual report of a company, as well as aiming to encourage the application of the principles of good corporate governance.
ARA also expected to help increase the quality of information disclosure in the company's Annual Report, in addition to increasing the confidence shareholders and stakeholders of the company, and a means for participants ARA assessment of the extent to which the company presents information both financial and non financial services to all stakeholders.
ARA participants consisted of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and private companies or private, either already listed (listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange) or the non-listed (not listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange). ARA consists of 10 categories which include, SOEs listed financial institution, the state Finance Non-Listed SOEs Non Financial Listed, SOE Non-Finance Non-Listed, listed financial institution, Private Finance Non-Listed, Private Non Financial Listed, Private Non-Finance Non-Listed, enterprises Listed , Non-Listed enterprises and of course Champion (best of the best).
At ARA 2015, PT PP (Persero) Tbk (the "Company") won the third place in the Category of Non Financial Listed SOEs. The award was received by Agus Purbianto as Finance Director of the Company on 27 September 2016 in Jakarta. (AP)
